Spaghetti with Meat Sauce Recipe
I would have to say that spaghetti is my comfort food. Not only that it calms me and makes me smile silly while reminiscing my childhood, it also makes good leftovers that I don’t get sick of. (Well, unless I have to eat it for a week straight, then sorry spaghetti, no more.)
Anyway, my spaghetti with meat sauce recipe will hopefully make you feel warm and fuzzy inside too. (I remember the spaghetti I had from grade school wasn’t all that tasty ‘ bland sauce and the spaghetti pasta was always broken in pieces, which was disappointing because I couldn’t slurp it like Lady in Lady and the Tramp!)
Back to the spaghetti recipe, I know that I’m cheating by using pre-made spaghetti sauce, but I’m also adding fresh ingredients to compensate for it. So the spaghetti sauce is still cooked over the stove, not in the microwave. There are also other ingredients such as dried parsley and red pepper flakes that you can add to this recipe as well. But I would say that this spaghetti recipe lays the foundation for my spaghetti comfort food. (I don’t want to slurp my spaghetti like Lady anymore, but I sure don’t want bland sauce or broken noodles!)
